Giant Piranha Fight Guide: Plan the Encounter

Follow the preparation and combat steps, then complete the follow-up before moving on.

Start here

Collect Leech Bait from the Forest woman. Use open ground to retreat, reload and shoot while clearing small piranhas. After the kill, return the Piranha Skeleton for the next island coordinates.

Bring the converted bait

Complete the three-leech exchange on Forest, collect Leech Bait and select it on the rod before casting.

Keep a clear reload route

  1. Use open grass for a shotgun retreat-and-fire loop.
  2. Move away while reloading, turn for a clear shot, then retreat again.
  3. Shoot the small piranhas when they crowd your escape route.

Deliver the trophy

Carry the Piranha Skeleton to the same woman and collect the Desert coordinates.

Prepare a retry

If you have no Leech Bait after a failed attempt, repeat the woman’s three-leech exchange.

Patch 1.0.12 rebalanced piranha. The pictured fight is version 1.0.9, so use attack and movement cues rather than expecting identical damage totals.
